Description: Some friends of mine met me at my shop in WP at 8am ish and headed down the pass. We got to Safeway at 8:30ish and met Jim and off we went. We got to the staging area and unloaded the 2 rigs ( mine and my friends(not in the club))Jim climbed into the jeep with Jesse and his wife Angie, Bill walked with the dog "Thunder". A group was just in front of us and were very friendly so we just tagged along with them.

At the drop in, one guy hooked a rock with his RR wheel and tour out the valve stem, so he put on the spare. Jesse and I decided to try a different line.

AT the waterfall, they did fine, some took the high line, and some took the low line. Jesse and I both took the lower line. As you can see from the videos that Jim sent out, Jesse is an assume spotter.

Coming out of the pit just under the water fall, Jesse lost a tie rod nut and I had to weld it back on. (Darn) Out of the pit and had lunch. Now on to Patriot.

Thanks to the group in front of us who showed us the line, The black jeep did very well. (Thanks to the new 3-1 kit I just put in the "T" Case) Jesses jeep did well to right up till he broke the RF axle joint. This was when we noticed that he also had a hole in the sidewall of that tire. We plugged the tire knowing it would not hold for long. Soon after that he turned his drag link into a smiley face. We had to pull it off and wedge it into a winch anchor and straiten it with a winch. Off again. At the exit, the black jeep was impressive, right up until it tried to tip over. ( I can still taste vinyl) . While getting Jesses jeep out with a flat tire and a broken axle we broke the other axle, and a spring mount. But we got him out!!

No injuries, no blood, no permanent damage.
