April 24, 2021 - Chinaman Trail Run

April 24th we ran the Chinaman Trail near Buena Vista.  I got to drive Tiger monkey with Sam riding shotgun.  Alex brought Sarge and did the whole trail with zero winching/towing.  So I guess Chanaman is now rated for no lift required, open diffs and 30” tires!  Mike was in his Yellowjack LJ, Russ brought his XJ, Jason was driving his brother’s Toyota and we had one guest in a Toyota truggy. 

Jason’s brother’s Toyota was just not ready to go and had issues with that driveshaft as well as with the fuel injection system.  So he and his family jumped in other rigs and we pressed on with the loop.  We saw a little snow on the ground and had a great time on the trail. 

Overall a very nice day to go wheeling.I’m looking forward to wheeling the rest of the year.Next trail run is the Eagle Rock scouting trip May 22nd
